Job summary

Chaparral Motorsports in San Bernardino, CA is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to own day-to-day accounting for a high-volume, multi-channel retail business, including the monthly close, tax filings, payroll accounting, and year-end reporting. You will supervise two clerks and manage AP/AR cycles and reconciliations.

The role requires robust full-cycle accounting expertise, multi-state tax experience, ERP familiarity (Acumatica preferred; NetSuite/Dynamics/Sage/QuickBooks accepted), and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience including GL, AP, AR, and reconciliations.
• Experience with mid-market ERP and QuickBooks.
• Multi-state sales tax or regulatory fee filing experience.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Supervise AP/AR Clerks and oversee weekly AP check run.
• Prepare and file multi-state tax and environmental/fee returns; support audits.
