PeopleShare by PROMAN is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant in Camden, NJ. This role reports to the Controller and focuses on bridging day-to-day accounting with financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, budgeting support, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to supervise accounting transactions. Knowledge of MAS 90/Sage 100 is a plus, and a flexible schedule may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with accounting coursework.
• 3-5 years progressive accounting experience, preferably in corporate or public accounting.
• Experience supervising accounting transactions and/or junior staff.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• MAS 90/Sage 100 experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business needs require.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and review transaction-level accounting activities including A/P, A/R, Fixed Assets, Payroll Entries, and General Journal Entries.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with annual budgeting and monthly variance analyses and reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and respond to auditor requests.
• Manage lease accounting under ASC 842, including ROU assets and lease liabilities.
