The Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to maintain financial records for assets, liabilities, and profit and loss, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role supervises accounting interns and staff accountants, trains seasonal staff, and supports the Controller on audits and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least three years of related experience, with strong communication, organization, and GAAP

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum three years of related experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Mansioni

• Maintain financial records for assets, liabilities, and P&L.
• Oversee accounting interns and staff accountants.
• Hires and trains seasonal accounting interns.
• Prepare balance sheets and income statements.
• Handle month-end journal entries and cost center reports.
• Coordinate with auditors and assist with audits.
