Job summary

TRMF is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to prepare and maintain financial records, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and related activities. The role supports audits and requires strong accuracy and confidentiality.

The position supervises accounting interns and staff, hires and trains seasonal interns, and coordinates with vendors and tax filings. Office-based with occasional long hours during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field.
• At least three years of related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounting interns and Staff Accountant(s).
• Hires and trains the seasonal accounting interns.
• Oversees the daily receipts process including daily revenue reporting.
• Prepares periodic balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
• Prepares month end journal entries as assigned.
• Distributes cost center reports and assists with variances.
• Coordinates department POS systems and reporting with accounting processes.
• Assist the Controller with fixed asset audits and reconciliation.
• Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books.
