Job summary

Jazwares, LLC is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to own key general ledger activities and drive accurate financial reporting. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver timely analysis and strengthen internal controls while supporting subsidiaries worldwide.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will help optimize the close process, perform detailed reconciliations, and contribute to audit readiness in a dynamic, global toy business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial or accounting roles.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, internal controls, and financial reporting experience.
• Hands-on accounting tasks, entries, and monthly close responsibilities.
• Ability to research complex accounting issues and present solutions.
• Advanced Excel skills and clear cross-functional communication.
• Exposure to internal/external reporting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and internal controls for specific ledgers and oversee global accounts.
• Execute monthly close for subsidiaries and prepare reconciliations.
• Collaborate with AR/AP teams to resolve issues and streamline workflows.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis to senior leadership.
• Support internal and external audit processes with documentation.
