Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, maintaining the general ledger, overseeing AP/AR, month-end close, and budgeting analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 7+ years of experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, or professional services.
• Strong understanding of debits & credits, general ledger accounting, and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and timekeeper profitability analysis.
• Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Support internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance initiatives.
• Conduct financial analysis, including annual budgeting and variance analysis.
• Oversee and assist with the billing process, including supporting documentation.
• Support government reporting and compliance requirements.
• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central accounting software.
• Work closely with administrative staff while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
