You will handle daily transactions, AP/AR, and multi-entity records, develop procedures, and work independently while embracing AI tools as we automate processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in accounting or AEC industry.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Experience with multiple entity financial records.
• Deltek Vantagepoint experience a plus.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets is a plus, along with knowledge of pivot tables, data organization and transfer tools, and conditional formulas.
• Must be willing to learn and utilize AI tools as the company introduces automated tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily accounting transactions, including invoicing, deposits, and updating the bank registry.
• Handles accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including processing bills, payments, invoices, and customer collections.
• Maintains accurate debit and credit transactions and demonstrates a solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Manages accounting activities and financial records across multiple companies.
• Develops and follows accounting procedures to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Keeps accounting records and transactions accurate and up to date.
• Meets tight deadlines and effectively manages multiple priorities in a face-paced, fast-growing company
• Works independently, takes ownership of responsibilities, and performs other duties as assigned
