Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience in accounting or finance required.
• Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Month-end closing and preparation of Financial Statements.
• Manage tax compliance and statutory reporting under GAAP.
• Support up to two Junior Accountants.

Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

What You Will Be Doing

• Month end closing accurately and efficiently with accurate reporting of transactions and preparation of Financial Statements
• Ensure appropriate accounting and management of master financial data
• Ensure accurate and timely statutory reporting, under GAAP and MegaMex Internal policies
• Support with tax compliance, manage tax, internal and external audit requirements
• Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
• Support up to two Junior Accountants
• Other projects as assigned.
  
  

What You Will Bring To The Team

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• 5+ years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Strong leadership capabilities
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.
• Proactive attitude and be a team player
