SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Direct Hire role with our client located in Pittsburgh, PA.

Work Environment: Hybrid

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments; manage month-end and year-end closings.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and operational reports; present findings to management.
• Support internal/external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and standard accounting requirements.
• Develop and implement new processes to enhance financial efficiency.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s in Accounting is required
• 5–7 years of related experience with extensive background in balance sheet account reconciliations, preparation of financial statement, and account analysis required
• GAAP accounting required, possessing strong fundamental accounting skills, demonstrated detail-orientation in a multi-business, multi-location company preferred
• ERP systems experience desired, project-based accounting (cost plus, fixed price, time and materials) a plus
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills are essential for the successful candidate
