LHH is partnering with a growing design and services client in the western suburbs seeking a Senior Staff Accountant. The Senior Staff Accountant will analyze profitability, vendor performance, and provide strategic insights to management.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations for accurate financial reporting.
2. Manage Accounts Payable, generate weekly payment runs, ensuring timely payment of invoices.
3. Assist with cash application as needed.
4. Assist with monthly sales tax data collection and preparation.
5. Analyze and reconcile company credit card accounts and activity.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
2. 5+ years of professional experience required.
3. Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
4. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Strong knowledge of GAAP standards and practices.
