Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant in Irvine, CA to own core GL processes, perform month-end close, reconcile accounts, and support financial reporting. The role requires multi-location experience, strong Excel skills, and NetSuite proficiency to ensure accurate financials.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain ledger integrity, and drive efficiency in accounting workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of General Ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with bank reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Multi-location accounting experience required.
• NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of month-end close processes and accounting principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-starter who takes initiative, works independently, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Our client, a growing and dynamic organization in the Irvine area, is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. This role is ideal for a motivated accounting professional who enjoys owning processes, working independently, and partnering across departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and month-end close activities.
