Zusammenfassung

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on the Stablecoin team to build the infrastructure for custom, USDC-backed coins. You'll own backend services and onchain contracts powering issuance, reserves, minting and rewards for a growing partner roster.

You'll collaborate with product and design to turn the roadmap into shipped features each quarter, while balancing security, performance, and reliability in a fast-paced environment with quarterly in-person surges.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating production backend services.
• Experience writing, testing, and deploying Solidity or similar EVM smart contracts in production.
• Comfort owning a service end-to-end and composing service-oriented architecture at scale.
• Knowledge of onchain security, audits, upgradeability, access control, and key management.
• Familiarity with Golang and onchain fundamentals; DeFi or stablecoin infra experience preferred.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements.

• Own and evolve the smart contracts that mint, burn, and safeguard custom stablecoin supply, shipping changes in a secure and auditable way.
• Build and scale backend services that power onboarding, issuance, reserve accounting, and rewards distribution.
• Partner with product, design, and tech leads to turn the stablecoin roadmap into shipped features every quarter.
• Drive architectural decisions across the backend and smart contract surface, balancing security, scalability, and speed of delivery.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and raise the bar for operational excellence across the team.
