Job summary

Amazon Inc. seeks a Sr. Physical Design STA Engineer to help build the next generation of cloud server platforms and optimize hardware in data centers. You will lead static timing analysis flows and contribute to high-performance, cost-efficient cloud services in AWS infrastructure.

You will design and optimize for AWS Inferentia and related hardware, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable systems with relentless quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with static timing analysis and timing constraint development is desirable.
• Ability to write scripts to automate timing analyses and report generation.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with physical design engineers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop & maintain flows for block and full-chip level static timing analysis.
• Write, debug & validate timing constraints for blocks and full-chip.
• Run Static Timing Analysis and provide feedback to team members and leads.
• Provide guidance on fixing timing issues (generate ECOs, fix constraint issues).
• Develop scripts to automate timing analysis and generate reports.
• Collaborate with other physical design engineers to deliver high-quality results.
