Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Hardware Engineering is seeking experienced hardware design engineers to lead integration and operations of next generation storage (SSD) for cloud systems. You will design, build and scale storage platforms, working with OEMs and AWS software teams to optimize performance, health, and cost across massive fleets.

You will influence SSD integration, develop monitoring and failure analysis services, and drive continuous improvement while delivering world-class hardware

Qualifications

5+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
Experience with root-cause, debug and resolution of issues on storage systems in Linux environment.
Experience with system integration and operation of SSDs.

Responsibilities

Lead integration and operations of SSDs for cloud storage platforms at scale.
Develop software services for monitoring, failure analysis, and health of SSDs.
Collaborate with AWS software teams to tailor storage solutions for the AWS environment.
