WellSaid Labs is hiring a Senior Software Engineer focused on Site Reliability & Security. You’ll run production platforms, improve availability, performance, and security across data pipelines, with on-call responsibilities and a strong emphasis on scalable delivery.

We value experience with AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC. The role supports a fully distributed US workforce, offering competitive compensation and stock options.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a modern programming language (Golang, Typescript, Python, etc.)
• Experience with cloud environments and container tech (AWS or GCP, Kubernetes, Docker)
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi)

Responsibilities

• Build and run monitoring, tracing, and alerting infrastructure
• Drive platform security initiatives to ensure reliability
• Lead incident response and perform root cause analysis
• Operate with high availability and redundancy across services
• Be on-call for alerts and deploy safe, scalable updates
• Improve deployment processes for speed and safety
• Deliver a stable, scalable product platform for engineering teams
• Identify ways to scale resource-intensive apps
• Help engineers write reliable, ship-fast code
