Job summary

Sanity.io, a modern content operating system, seeks a Senior SRE in the United States to design, build, and operate scalable infrastructure. You will work near the metal on security, stability, and performance, ensuring real-time content delivery and reliability for a growing customer base.

You will collaborate with development teams, improve observability, and raise the reliability bar through dashboards, incident response, and automated workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SRE/DevOps on-call rotations.
• Based in the United States with overlap with European hours.
• Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud-based applications.
• Strong analytical approach to designing, diagnosing, and optimizing infrastructure.
• Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate GCP infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking, CI/CD, and observability.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex distributed systems at high request volume.
• Ensure observability and analyze stack behavior.
• Contribute to edge, caching, and gateway modernization with Fastly.
• Raise reliability with dashboards, alerts, paging, on-call readiness, and incident response.
• Make deployment boring by building golden paths, readiness checks, and safe rollouts.
• Mentor engineers through code/design reviews and pairing.
• Participate in on-call rotation and rollout support.
