Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer within the Core Services team to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of Apple’s Backbone Network, including hardware, software, and tooling used to configure and monitor the environment.

You will collaborate with developers to design resilient hosting architectures, implement observability, and streamline CI/CD pipelines, while applying DevOps best practices to support Apple’s cloud services at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming (Python, Bash, Go, Java, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and monitoring/logging tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of our application and networking platforms, APIs, and integrations.
• Collaborate with development to design resilient hosting architectures and streamline CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement observability/monitoring best practices: tracing, logging, metrics, and alerting for apps and network devices.
• Troubleshoot incidents and promote DevOps practices to improve release velocity.
