Job summary

Laravel is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to scale our global infrastructure and drive reliability across the organization. You will design, implement, and own systems supporting Laravel Cloud, Nightwatch, and Forge, advocating a blameless culture and shared responsibility for reliability.

You will lead the SRE function, partner with engineering, product, and SecOps, and shape observability through Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki across multi-region Kubernetes deployments.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with Linux system administration and AWS.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
• Programming ability in PHP, Bash, or Go.
• Strong troubleshooting with systems thinking.
• Experience defining SLO/SLI/SLA and capacity planning.
• Documentation and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Architect reliability by building core SRE functions.
• Design, build, and maintain multi-region Kubernetes infra.
• Automate with software to reduce toil.
• Design monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki.
• Collaborate with product and SecOps for shared responsibility.
