Job summary

Sentior, Ltd. is seeking a Senior Site Reliability / Release Engineer with 4–8 years of experience to manage deployments across AWS, on‑prem, and PCF, and to optimize CI/CD pipelines.

You will work to improve reliability and performance of Java-based applications with automation and scripting. You will collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations to resolve deployment and infrastructure challenges, implement monitoring, and drive platform stability in multi-cloud and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Release Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud-based application deployments.
• Strong experience supporting and deploying Java-based applications, preferably using Spring Boot.
• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Experience with Dynatrace or similar application performance monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages such as Shell or Groovy.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and version control practices such as Gitflow.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or BlazeMeter.

Responsibilities

• Automation & CI/CD: Design, develop, and maintain automated deployment pipelines and scripts.
• Release Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute releases across environments.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Manage deployments across AWS, Azure, on-premise VMs, and PCF.
• Performance Engineering: Conduct performance and load testing to optimize app performance.
• Monitoring & Observability: Configure monitoring dashboards and alerts.
• Platform Management: Coordinate upgrades and deployments with minimal downtime.
• Troubleshooting: Analyze production issues, core/heap/thread dumps.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Development, QA, and Operations teams.
