Job summary

ampliFI Loyalty Solutions in Naperville, IL, seeks a Site Reliability Engineer (Release & Operations) to own the release lifecycle and champion automated CI/CD workflows. You will drive CAB governance, coordinate across engineers, QA, and product teams, and ensure secure, scalable AWS infrastructure in a compliant setting.

Requires hands-on SRE/DevOps experience, strong scripting (Python/Bash), and IaC proficiency. This hybrid role reports onsite Tue–Thu with national remote options.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in SRE/DevOps or Release/Operations roles.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure and serverless architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the release lifecycle end-to-end (planning, scheduling, staging, deploying, post-release validation).
• Represent and coordinate on CAB, evaluating architectural risk and ensuring compliance before production deployment.
• Communicate deployment windows, status, risk assessments, and rollback plans with developers, QA, product mgmt, and stakeholders.
• Standardize and mature release processes with automated CI/CD guardrails and repeatable workflows.
• Provide hands-on production support and participate in on-call rotations.
• Design and maintain automation tooling and pipelines (Python, Bash) to reduce toil.
• Maintain IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for drift-free deployments.
• Configure observability/monitoring (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana) for release health.
• Ensure PCI/SOC2/compliance alignment and audit-ready SOPs/logs.
