Job summary

PostHog is seeking a senior ClickHouse infrastructure engineer to automate and manage a massive analytics platform. You will scale clusters, optimize hardware deployments, and drive provisioning processes across cloud environments.

You'll work with Python, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, AWS and Zookeeper to push performance and reliability. This role embraces a native-remote model and data-first thinking to support fast-paced product development.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with ClickHouse or similar OLAP databases and internals.
• Proven ability to automate dynamic provisioning of large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience operating at high scale with complex data storage solutions.

Responsibilities

• Automate, manage and maintain ClickHouse at scale as the system grows.
• Build provisioning and scaling automations for large clusters (100 PB+).
• Contribute to query optimization tooling and performance improvements.
