Job summary

Diverse Lynx LLC is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) in Jersey City, NJ. The role emphasizes monitoring, observability, and production engineering to ensure reliability and performance of production systems.

You will work with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to proactively identify issues, troubleshoot incidents, improve system performance, and maintain high service availability in a hybrid environment with four onsite days.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in SRE/Production Engineering/DevOps.
Strong experience with Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana for monitoring and observability.
Experience supporting production applications and distributed systems.
Troubleshooting and incident resolution with RCA.
Knowledge of Linux/Unix, scripting, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
Experience with automation and scripting (Python/Bash).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor production applications and infrastructure with Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana.
Develop dashboards, alerts, and monitoring solutions to detect issues early.
Perform production support, incident management, and RCA.
Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, network, and performance issues.
Support reliability, capacity planning, and availability improvements.
Participate in on-call, incident reviews, and post-incident analysis.
Identify recurring incidents and implement automation to reduce toil.
Collaborate with DevOps, infra, and support teams to improve stability.
Define and monitor SLIs/SLOs/SLAs and maintain runbooks.
