Job summary

The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Sr. Manager, Site Reliability Engineer to lead multiple SRE teams within the Commerce SRE organization.

You will drive reliability, automation, and observability across critical guest-facing platforms, collaborating with engineering, security, and business partners. You will guide infrastructure modernization, CI/CD pipelines, and cost-aware planning, reporting to the Director of SRE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years in SRE/Systems Engineering with 4+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience implementing observability across complex distributed systems.
• Proven ability to drive reliability in cloud and on-prem environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for multiple SRE teams and leaders.
• Oversee design and delivery of scalable, fault-tolerant systems across cloud and on‑prem.
• Champion observability with telemetry and AI/ML for predictive reliability insights.
• Automate infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using IaC and DevOps tools.
• Develop departmental plans aligned with business objectives and ensure resource optimization.
