Job summary

Kovoro is seeking a Senior SRE to lead reliability initiatives across its platform. You will define SLOs and error budgets, run incident command for major outages, and build self-service infrastructure for product teams. The team is senior and well-resourced, offering on-call rotation with compensation and a focus on reliability culture among customers who are themselves SRE and DevOps practitioners.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of SRE, infrastructure engineering, or production operations experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one of Go, Python, or Rust.
• Deep experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS (or GCP) at production scale.
• Demonstrated ownership of SLOs, error budgets, and incident response programs.
• Comfort writing public-facing postmortems and presenting reliability data to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability initiatives across the platform—from defining SLOs to incident response.
• Drive portability and reliability through self-service infrastructure for product teams.
• Run incident command for major outages with cross-functional coordination.
• Define and monitor error budgets and reliability metrics for exec reviews.
• Collaborate on Go and Python-based tooling on a Kubernetes-based deployment platform.
