Shield AI is seeking an experienced SRE lead to establish and mature reliability practices across our cloud platform. You will set targets, improve observability, and ensure production systems operate and recover predictably.

This role is hands-on, with responsibility for incident response, tooling, and mentoring across Cloud Engineering and Reliability teams. You will define SLIs/SLOs, lead complex incident responses, and drive improvements that reduce toil while increasing system health.

Competenze

• 7+ years of experience in SRE, software or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience operating production services with availability requirements.
• Experience implementing SLIs/SLOs, monitoring and incident response.
• Experience designing and operating infrastructure in AWS or other clouds.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tooling.
• Experience supporting containerized applications and distributed systems.
• Ability to diagnose complex failures across apps, infra and networks.
• Experience leading incident response and long-term technical roadmaps.

• Define and implement SLIs, SLOs, and reliability measures.
• Build and improve monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing.
• Lead technical response to incidents and drive RCA.
• Identify recurring failures and coordinate remediation with teams.
