Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Analytical background with experience in statistical data analysis.
• Experience coding in Python, Perl, SQL, Java, C, or R.
• Proven ability to provide insightful and well-received technical feedback.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to articulate complex concepts clearly.
• Experience with Internet protocols (DNS/HTTP/TLS/TCP).

Responsibilities

• Leading SRE teams by providing technical mentorship, feedback and guidelines, and by organizing project-specific work.
• Driving partnership with Engineering, Operations and Product teams to help guide adoption of new features and processes.
• Applying analytical skills and statistical insights to identify performance bottlenecks and reliability challenges, and propose solutions.
• Defining, implementing, and mining data feeds drawn from third-party and internal sources to produce insights that influence company decision-making.
• Influencing company decision-making at the highest levels to identify areas for new technology investments.
• Building software tools and systems to automate analytical tasks and workflows to increase efficiency and reliability.
