Job summary

collaboration Factory GmbH is seeking a Senior SRE to manage the cplace Cloud operations. You will run Kubernetes-based Cloud 2.0 and migrate environments from Cloud 1.0 while implementing security, monitoring, and cost optimisation. You’ll work with AI-driven tooling and collaborate with product teams for smooth releases.

The role requires 5+ years in SRE/DevOps, strong Kubernetes, IaC, and cloud provider experience; fluent German and English are expected; on-call rotation applies.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as an SRE, DevOps or platform engineer in production.
• Hands-on Kubernetes in production with cloud provider experience.
• Strong IaC, CI/CD, GitOps and modular, tested code.
• Solid Linux skills and at least one database like MariaDB.

Responsibilities

• Co-build Kubernetes platform and migrate customer environments from Cloud 1.0 to 2.0.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and GitOps repositories with tests.
• Operate Linux servers, containers, databases and logging stack; fix incidents.
• Improve monitoring, backups, DR, and sustainability of cost optimisations.
• Collaborate with product for releases; represent team in customer discussions.
