Job summary

Penn Entertainment is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own and operate the infrastructure behind a large‑scale sports betting and media platform. You will drive migrations, build tooling, and improve observability across production services in multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE or related role.
• Strong experience operating Kubernetes in production Linux environments.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, and/or on‑prem infrastructures.
• Proficiency in at least two of Go, Python, or Bash for tooling.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, networking, performance, and capacity planning.
• Experience with GitOps and CI/CD workflows (ArgoCD, Helm, GitHub Actions).
• Infrastructure‑as‑code experience (Terraform/Helm).
• Track record leading complex migrations or cross‑team projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive complex infrastructure migrations across multiple environments and jurisdictions.
• Build and maintain platform tooling and automation (ArgoCD, Helm, GitHub Actions).
• Support development teams by advising on infrastructure needs and onboarding tooling.
• Design observability and alerting with Datadog, dashboards, and runbooks.
• Provide incident response support and participate in on‑call rotations.
