Job summary

SOFTSWISS is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer for the Sportsbook team to join a high-load, production-critical platform. The role combines backend engineering with operational responsibility, focusing on debugging real issues and stabilizing systems rather than feature work.

You will work with Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Redis, and observability tools to improve reliability, while collaborating with developers, QA and DevOps to resolve incidents and drive incidents to resolution.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with Go in production
• Strong debugging across services and data layers
• Experience with PostgreSQL and query tuning
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience
• Familiarity with observability tools Grafana, ELK
• Experience with Redis caching
• Kafka and RabbitMQ experience
• Understanding distributed systems under load

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve production issues across services and integrations
• Work directly with Kubernetes environments: deployments, configs, scaling
• Improve observability with metrics, logging, tracing (Grafana, ELK)
• Support integrations between Sportsbook services and external platforms
• Write internal tooling and automation in Go
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps to resolve incidents
