Job summary

Laravel is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to scale our global infrastructure and empower millions of developers building dreams.

You will design and operate multi-region Kubernetes environments, implement observability stacks with Prometheus, Grafana and Loki, and reduce toil through software. This role reports to Florian Beer and requires close collaboration with product, security, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Linux system administration and AWS experience.
• Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform proficiency.
• Scripting with PHP, Bash or Go.
• Experience defining SLOs/SLIs and capacity planning.
• Strong documentation and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Architect Reliability: Establish SRE as a core function at Laravel.
• System Design: Build multi-region Kubernetes infra and global systems.
• Automation: Reduce toil through software solutions.
• Observability: Design monitoring, logging, alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki.
• Collaboration: Partner with product leads and SecOps.
