Job summary

Blue River Technology is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join its Platform organization, accelerating the company-wide adoption and scaling of automation and robotics. In this role, you will drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers across teams, and shape the direction of our platform.

You will architect, scale, and own essential infrastructure, build a Kubernetes-based platform, and develop backend services (Golang) to support autonomous systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building and maintaining data-intensive, high-availability infrastructure.
• Experience with public cloud infrastructure and production Kubernetes deployments.
• Experience securing cloud infrastructure (AWS/Kubernetes) in production.
• Proficient in designing scalable, observable systems and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Golang, Python, JavaScript, or Rust for tooling and services.

Responsibilities

• Architect, scale, and own essential infrastructure.
• Build and maintain a Kubernetes-based platform supporting multiple teams and services.
• Develop backend services (Golang) to support autonomous systems.
• Collaborate with product teams for launches and platform evolution.
• Improve reliability and uptime through observability, dashboards, and alerting.
• Participate in on-call rotations and perform postmortems.
