Job summary

Airbyte is seeking an experienced Infrastructure/DevOps leader to own the Data Replication platform infrastructure across AWS and GCP. You will drive reliability, scalability, and unsafe-to-change risk reduction through tooling and automation.

You will partner with product engineers to deliver reliable features, enhance monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog, and advance AI-assisted release processes including canaries and progressive rollouts.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps.
• Hands‑on ownership of Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
• Deep experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline ownership and developer tooling.
• Ability to read backend code to understand failures and instrument them.
• Fluency with AI tools, LLMs and agent technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own the infrastructure underpinning Data Replication platform across AWS and GCP.
• Partner with product engineers to integrate features with infrastructure.
• Maintain and enhance observability, alerting, anomaly detection.
• Maintain AI-augmented release tooling: canary deployments, progressive rollouts, rollbacks.
• Build self-serve tooling and runbooks; coach engineers to own stack.
