Coalfire is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own an operational capability within managed environments, and to design how we observe regulated cloud estates. You will automate runbooks, improve alerts, and lead incident response with a focus on reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in site reliability, cloud operations, or managed services.
• Experience operating production cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Proven incident response and command capability; automation focus.

Responsibilities

• Own one operational capability in the managed estate and its automation.
• Design observations for regulated cloud environments including telemetry and SLIs/SLOs.
• Build and maintain continuous-monitoring evidence pipelines.
• Own backup, recovery, and resilience engineering with tested procedures.
• Serve as senior escalation point and drive blameless post-incident reviews.
• Automate operational toil via IaC, pipelines, and scripting.
