Job summary

Astreya Consultancy India is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design and operate secure cloud foundations for GovCloud, IL5, and FedRAMP High. You will own large features, drive automation, and mentor engineers working on compliant cloud platforms.

The role emphasizes multi-account AWS GovCloud, Terraform, Control Tower, IAM, and cloud governance while focusing on reliability, security, and FinOps. Remote with PST-hour preference.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SRE, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud and multi-account environments, IAM, Terraform, and governance patterns.
• Experience building automation in languages like Python, Go, or Ruby.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate AWS GovCloud foundations for FedRAMP High and IL5.
• Implement and maintain service control policies and guardrails.
• Create reusable IaC modules and paving-road patterns for secure deployments.
• Support cloud resource creation, VPC patterns, IAM patterns, and account controls.
• Provide guidance to engineers adopting secure cloud patterns.
• Document processes and runbooks for audits and operations.
