Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineering to join a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will help shape the reliability, scalability, and operational maturity of a cloud-based engineering platform used by teams across the organization. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure and systems.
• Extensive fluency in AWS and Linux.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and web technologies (DNS, TLS, HTTP/S, TCP/IP).
• Strong problem decomposition and tradeoff analysis.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain software and systems that improve service availability and scalability.
• Set architectural direction for infrastructure and platform services.
• Implement tools and processes for deployment and infrastructure management.
• Troubleshoot and debug critical systems throughout the SDLC.
• Contribute to the evolution of engineering capabilities as a platform organization.
• Conduct capacity planning and demand forecasting to anticipate performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in rotating on-call duties.
