Zusammenfassung

Global Business Ser. 4u in Hartford is seeking an experienced SRE/DevOps engineer for a contract-to-perm role focused on observability across our web portal running on GCP.

You will design and implement monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and ensure proper logging and tracing with Cloud Logging and Cloud Trace, plus APIGEE integration.

The role requires 5+ years in SRE/DevOps, strong Kubernetes (GKE), JVM metrics, and frontend instrumentation.

Qualifikationen

5+ years in SRE/DevOps with JVM, APIGEE, and GCP observability.
Experience implementing Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry in production.
Strong Linux administration and scripting in Python.
Hands-on with Kubernetes (GKE) and containerized workloads.
UI instrumentation and end-to-end tracing experience.

Aufgaben

Design and implement comprehensive SRE monitoring for the web portal on GCP.
Set up JVM metrics collection and performance monitoring for Java apps.
Implement logging and tracing standards across portal components.
Configure APIGEE monitoring and API performance tracking.
Create dashboards correlating metrics, logs, and traces.
Integrate GMP with Grafana/Prometheus stack.
Develop SRE automation/scripts for GKE namespaces.
