Sabre is seeking an SRE Software Systems Engineer IV for the Data Intelligence and AI Operations team to scale high-throughput data platforms and AI workloads on Google Cloud, with a focus on reliability and automation.

The role involves on-call rotations, after-hours work, and collaboration across global teams to reduce toil, optimize costs, and improve incident response using IaC and modern tooling.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of experience in systems engineering, DevOps or data engineering within high-volume, data-intensive environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, BigQuery and Apache Airflow.
• Experience using generative AI, automation or analytics tools to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python scripting to automate complex technical tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to manage incident response and partner across teams to build scalable cloud solutions.

Mansioni

• Modularize and manage core Google Cloud Platform services using Infrastructure as Code to ensure strict security and scalability.
• Optimize resource utilization, auto-scaling policies and cloud spend for large-scale data and machine learning workloads.
• Operationalize machine learning models and Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures using robust continuous integration pipelines.
• Build automated failovers and schema migrations using Python and Bash to eliminate repetitive operational toil.
• Use generative AI and automation to streamline pipeline observability, trace system telemetry and accelerate incident response.
