Job summary
Prove Identity is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team in a remote US-based role. You will design, deploy, and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS, implement IaC, and drive observability and reliability across services.
This role emphasizes on-call readiness, incident reviews, and close collaboration with application teams to ensure security and performance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related roles.
- Expert knowledge of observability platforms and practices (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, ELK/Splunk).
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Spacelift, Pulumi).
- Programming proficiency in Go or Python.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
Responsibilities
- Drive maximum uptime for existing and developing products.
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable systems.
- Lead Observability initiatives across infrastructure and applications.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation to achieve high availability.
- Collaborate with platform and application engineers to improve reliability and security.
