Job summary

Spectro Cloud is seeking a hands-on Site Reliability Engineer to enhance Palette production systems, reliability, and automations across US/EU deployments. You will drive SLOs, incident response, and recovery, while reducing toil through automation and AI-guided workflows.

You will partner with Platform Engineering, DevOps, and product teams to design scalable, observable, and secure cloud-native services, focusing on resilience and production readiness across Kubernetes-based microservices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SRE/Production/DevOps experience in high-scale systems.
• Strong Kubernetes experience in complex production environments.
• Programming in Python, Go, or Java with automation focus.
• Experience with observability, incident response and on-call operations.
• IaC experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Define and improve SLI/SLOs and error budgets with service owners.
• Participate in incident response, on-call, RCA, and long-term remediation.
• Build and maintain unified observability dashboards and alerts.
• Automate toil and deploy safe release strategies (canary, rolling, blue/green).
• Troubleshoot distributed systems and optimize MongoDB performance.
