Job summary

Sight Machine is seeking a senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead reliability, automation, and scaling of our platform. You will work across teams on IaC, CI/CD, and AI workloads, mentoring engineers and driving improvements in monitoring and incident response.

The role is hybrid, requiring in-office presence in San Francisco 2x per week, with remote-friendly culture and strong collaboration across clients in digital manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating agentic AI/LLM-based systems in production.
• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Proven track record with IaC, CI/CD, and observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability and automation across Sight Machine's platform.
• Mentor senior engineers and drive cross-team initiatives.
• Design, build, and operate infrastructure for AI workloads.
• Improve monitoring, incident response, and runbooks.
