Job summary

PAE Government Services Inc. in Spokane, WA is seeking a senior Database and SharePoint Administrator to join our on-site team.

Responsibilities include managing Microsoft SQL Server across development, test, and production, implementing high availability, security, and disaster recovery, and supporting SharePoint Server 2019 farms and related services. You will collaborate with developers and government stakeholders, perform PowerShell and T-SQL automation, apply DoD STIGs and RMF controls, and

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance eligibility and U.S. citizenship required.
• 7+ years administering SQL Server and SharePoint 2016/2019 in enterprise on-prem environments (or 4 years with a relevant degree).
• Strong experience in SQL Server performance tuning, backup/recovery, HA, and security.
• Experience implementing STIGs, RMF controls and DoD cybersecurity compliance.
• Experience with PowerShell, T-SQL, and automation scripting.

Responsibilities

• Administer SQL Server environments across development, test, and production.
• Design, implement, and support secure, highly available database solutions.
• Monitor health, performance, and capacity; perform maintenance and tuning.
• Configure backups, DR strategies, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle tasks.
• Maintain high availability with Always On and failover clustering.
• Support SharePoint Server 2019 on-premises, including farms, service apps, and AD integration.
• Provide user support, document architecture, and collaborate with development teams.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and T-SQL.
