Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience with SQL Server DBA
- Experience with replication, backups, and restore procedures
- Experience with VMware and Hyper-V virtualization
- Experience with source control, bug tracking, and SDLC
- Ability to document, explain, and present tasks and decisions
- Experience with data warehouses and cloud environments is a plus
Responsibilities
- Administer Microsoft SQL Server including replication and backups
- Migrate databases between SQL Server versions
- Provide systems administration support for hardware and software
- Tune SQL performance and monitor capacity
- Support Visual Studio, VB.NET, ASP.NET, and Web Services technologies
- Create and configure virtual machines with VMware/Hyper-V
- Back up web, app, and database servers per policy
- Monitor database space and provide support during off-hours
