Job summary

CACI International Inc. seeks a Database Administrator to support the SE2 environment, managing SQL Server databases, security, backups, and performance.

Hybrid role: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote. Requires DoD Secret clearance, a related degree, and 7+ years of DB administration experience. Proficiency with SSMS, Azure, SQL STIGs, IIS, and ColdFusion is essential. You will collaborate with developers to ensure data availability and integrity, and stay current with new database technologies.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 7 years of database administration experience.
• DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01-M cybersecurity certifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and SSMS.
• Experience with Azure and Azure Storage Explorer.
• Strong knowledge of SQL STIGs and implementation.
• Experience with IIS and ColdFusion for database communication.
• Backup, recovery procedures, and performance tuning expertise.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases for the SE2 environment.
• Ensure database performance, integrity, security, and availability.
• Implement and manage database backup and recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with software developers to support their database needs.
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Work with IIS and ColdFusion for database communication.
• Implement and maintain SQL STIGs for database security.
• Provide critical support to software developers in managing SQL databases.
• Stay current with emerging database technologies and best practices.
