Job summary

CACI International Inc. seeks a Database Administrator for the Aberdeen Proving Ground environment to support SE2 databases. You will manage SQL Server, ensure performance, security, and availability while backing up data and supporting developers.

Responsibilities include optimizing queries, implementing SQL STIGs, and collaborating with IIS/ColdFusion. A DoD Secret clearance and 7+ years of DBA experience are required; Azure experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of database administration experience.
• DoD 8140.01 and DoD 8570.01-M cybersecurity certifications required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and SSMS.
• Experience with Azure and Azure Storage Explorer.
• Strong knowledge of SQL STIGs and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases for SE2.
• Ensure database performance, integrity, security, and availability.
• Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with software developers to support database needs.
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Work with IIS and ColdFusion for database communication.
• Provide database security through SQL STIGs implementation.
• Stay current with emerging database technologies and best practices.
