Job summary

Quantiphi is seeking an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator to manage and optimize mission-critical SQL Server databases hosted on AWS EC2, with a focus on high availability and low latency for trading applications. The role requires deep SQL Server, AWS infrastructure, and reliability demands for financial systems.

You will install, configure, and maintain SQL Server 2019/2022 across Development, UAT, and Production, implement HA/DR, and ensure security controls while collaborating

Qualifications

• Experience in SQL Server administration across development, UAT and production.
• Strong AWS infrastructure knowledge for SQL Server deployments on EC2.
• Ability to design and manage HA/DR solutions with performance in mind.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and tune SQL Server performance using Profiler, DMVs, and Query Store.
• Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server on AWS EC2 with HA/DR in mind.
• Manage security, roles, permissions, and auditing for databases.
• Implement and maintain Always On AG, FCI, log shipping, and mirroring.
• Collaborate with DevOps and trading-system engineers; participate in CAB.
