Job summary

Mi-Case in the United States is seeking an ETL SQL Developer to design, develop, and optimize data integration and migration solutions. You will work with PL/SQL or T-SQL to create procedures, views, and scripts while ensuring performance and scalability.

The role emphasizes collaboration with analysts, data engineers, and project managers to meet business requirements. Expect on-site work three days a week at the Desert Ridge location.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SQL development, with strong proficiency in Postgre pgSQL, Oracle PL/SQL (preferred) or Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL.
• Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and database performance tuning.
• Familiarity with source control tools and DevOps processes is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand existing codebases and refactor or optimize as needed.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with analysts and data engineers to understand requirements and implement reliable data solutions.
• Design, develop, and optimize stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views using PL/SQL (preferred) or T-SQL or PL/SQL.
• Act as an Architect for Data Migration on Licensing Models, document database designs, coding standards, and technical specifications.
• Build and maintain complex queries and scripts to support data migration, reporting, and integration tasks.
• Analyze legacy system data structures and participate in data mapping and conversion efforts.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Perform unit testing and support QA with test case creation and defect resolution.
• Monitor and maintain database jobs, schedules, and overall performance.
