Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a TPA Core Services Senior SQL Developer to design, develop, optimize, and maintain core backend systems and data workflows powering TPA services for the WTCHP. Lead SQL development and ensure secure, scalable solutions across interfaces.

You will collaborate with architects, analysts, QA, SMEs, and vendors to advance modernization and interoperability while adhering to HIPAA and federal security requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of SQL/database development or backend integration experience.
• Strong SQL, relational design, stored procedures, performance tuning.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, PHI/PII handling, and federal security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead SQL development, database design, and integration work across core TPA systems.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA testers, operational SMEs, data engineers, and system vendors to validate backend functionality.
• Drive outcomes by resolving complex data and system challenges, optimizing database performance, and supporting modernization initiatives.
• Utilize SQL development, stored procedures, ETL/ELT tools, APIs, EDI frameworks, cloud data technologies, and DevSecOps practices to implement secure solutions.
