Job summary

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) is seeking a Data Warehouse Developer to design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and SQL Server data warehouse solutions that support enterprise analytics. You will work on T-SQL, SSIS packages, and dimensional data models in a collaborative BI team environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of hands-on programming with database languages, strong debugging skills, and experience with T-SQL or SQL development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on programming experience with modern programming or database languages.
• Strong fundamentals in debugging, logic, and analytical thinking.
• Experience with at least one procedural database language such as T-SQL or PL/SQL or ability to learn SQL development quickly.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts including dimensional modeling and ETL best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain T-SQL procedures, functions, views, and database objects.
• Build and support SSIS packages that extract, transform, and load data into the enterprise data warehouse.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes for dimensional and fact tables.
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies and failed jobs.
• Write clean, well-documented code following standards.
• Perform thorough testing prior to production deployments.
• Collaborate with senior developers, BI analysts, and data architects.
• Support scheduled production jobs and troubleshoot ETL issues.
• Continuously build expertise in T-SQL, SSIS, and data warehousing.
