Job summary

RSM US LLP seeks a Senior Database Developer for a temporary engagement to lead a legacy modernization for a financial services client. You will analyze current architecture, translate business logic, and create scalable, auditable data models with strong governance.

You will design new data structures, optimize SPROCs, and collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile team using Jira/Confluence to deliver secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 8–10 years in SQL Server development/DBA, data modeling, in large-scale environments (financial services preferred).
• Experience with data migration, ETL, SSIS, and data governance controls.
• Proven ability to build high-performance, auditable data solutions with security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing database architecture and complex business logic.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable DB solutions.
• Design and develop new data models, schemas, and objects.
• Build and optimize tables, SPROCs, and controls for integrity and auditability.
