Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a skilled data/ETL developer in Wisconsin to design, develop, and support complex enterprise software solutions. You will work closely with data modelers, architects, and SMEs to deliver robust data transformations and letter-generation processes.

The role emphasizes SQL Server development, C# programming, SSIS workloads, and collaboration across IT and business teams, with a strong focus on data quality and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field; 4–6 years of related experience.
• Equivalent experience reflective of the level of this position.
• Microsoft SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, index creation, performance tuning).
• 3+ years of C# development.
• 3+ years of SSIS development.
• Experience with EDI preferred.
• Experience with Healthcare/Managed Care Data is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions across the organization.
• Create, optimize, and re-engineer SQL Server objects to stage and transform data for correspondence.
• Own, maintain, and enhance the in-house letter application using C# and Word document generation.
• Develop and support SSIS packages for ETL and document conversion workflows.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs using ActiveBatch.
• Perform data analysis, testing, and production support; resolve data and performance issues.
